AOT NEW ZEALAND WINS SAGA GROUP CONTRACT
7th of September, 2009AOT NEW ZEALAND today announced a new partnership with SAGA HOLIDAYS, UK's leading touring holidays operator for the over 50s. SAGA HOLIDAYS has appointed AOT NEW ZEALAND as its new Inbound Tour Operator for its business into NEW ZEALAND.
AOT has looked after the SAGA group business to Australia for many years and will commence operating the SAGA group business from September 2009.
SAGA UK Product Manager Kylie Organ said that interest in New Zealand was growing in SAGA's market segment and they were keen to explore new innovative itineraries and increase the number of departures.
"We were impressed with the AOT submission which had some new creative itineraries and a compelling proposition all round" said Ms Organ
Cinzia Burnes, COO of the AOT Group said that this new appointment strengthen even further the long term partnership with SAGA and enabled AOT to ensure consistency of service throughout Australia and NZ handling both countries. The AOT NZ team, based in Auckland and headed by General Manager Kathy Turner, is delighted with this new responsibility to manage what is arguably the largest group series program from UK/Europe into New Zealand.
