AOT INBOUND WINS KUONI UK ACCOUNT
7th of September, 2009Kuoni UK and the AOT Group today announced the formation of a new partnership. KUONI UK has appointed AOT Inbound as their inbound partner in Australia, providing hotel, touring and other land content together with customer service, product advice and a wide range of ancillary services.
KUONI UK Product Manager, Jayne White said that this new strategy was a new direction for KUONI UK in Australia which the Company had decided upon in order to improve efficiencies in procurement in the region and deliver an even better level of customer service for KUONI passengers while in Australia.
"KUONI sees this new partnership as a great step forward in terms of our product selection, operational efficiency and customer service levels in Australia and we see AOT as the best partner to have in the region to support the growth in our business" said Ms. White.
Cinzia Burnes, COO of the AOT Group said that this new partnership recognised the importance of utilising the complimentary strengths of both organisations to provide KUONI UK passengers with a quality experience in Australia and at the same time opening up a much wider range of Australian travel products and services to KUONI's customers. It also reinforces the relevance of the Inbound Tour Operator and shows we still add significant value to the distribution network as the key facilitator between overseas wholesalers and local product suppliers, added Ms Burnes.
This new partnership also extends the long-term partnership that AOT has enjoyed with Kuoni in Europe where AOT looks after Kuoni clients from Switzerland, Italy and Spain.
